Greetings from a newbie

Hi everyone!  I have been reading this blog for some time now and am happy to be a new member.

The world of stitching smalls is new to me.  I usually stitch large things but have found how fun it is to finish something in a couple days.  Talk about instant gratification!  I love it!

Anyway, here are 2 pieces I finished last week.  I hope you enjoy them -- I certainly enjoyed stitching them.

Take care,
Marcy

Two Christmas Finishes

Here are two finishes that I can show:

Above is Blitzen Glistens! by Just Nan. I started this baby last year and finally finished it. It was the little 1 over 1 birdies that sent me over the edge. That's why it became a UFO until a couple weeks ago.

This is Souvenirs of Paris by Blackbird Designs. I stitched this for the Ties that Bind exchange group I'm in. I'm thrilled with how it turned out.

Joyeux Noël

Designer: Joyeux Noël by De Fil en Aiguille
Threads: DMC
Fabric: 28ct evenweave antique white by M.C.G. Textiles
Start/Finish: 11/13-16/2009

This design featuring a little girl holding a branch of holly is actually part of a bell-pull design, but I thought it would like lovely by itself. There is a companion piece with a little boy holding a bunch of snowdrops. I think I might stitch that design later this month.

Until next time ^____^

Hello friends!!

Just a quick post to let you know I will be a little MIA until after the Christmas holidays :) We have someone coming in this Wednesday for two weeks and with the Thanksgiving holiday we are always so busy with family (I LOVE that!!!) and it continues right through Christmas as I do so much I tend to be a little MIA as far as computer and stitching goes....
BUT you all KEEP stitching and sharing and I'll be back before you know it :)

My Prize from Becky

On Saturday I received a wonderful envelope of goodies from Down Sunshie Lane. This was the prize that Becky gave away on Halloween. It was full of Christmas Stitching goodies.

Here is a picture of the great contents.

Thanks again, Becky. I can't wait to stitch some of these charts.

2 ornaments to show off

I am starting my ornament making, for some they started months ago and even in October so I am a little behind compared to some but I got off to a good start this weekend. The first one is called Pere Noel and the second one is called Continental Christmas. I got both of these patterns from a cross stitched book that I checked out of the library. I have a long way to go still I have at least 30 more to do. Most of them are of the same thing and seeing as I have many more to go I am keeping them simple because I don't have that much time! I have to admit I love the Pere Noel I want to make one for myself next month when I have time!

Bonne année

I finally got a chance to finish this lovely design from De Fil en Aiguille a little while ago.

Designer: Bonne année by De Fil en Aiguille
Threads: DMC
Fabric: 28ct evenweave antique white by M.C.G. Textiles
Start/Finish: 11/05-06/2009

Sorry for the dark photo O_o"

Until next time ^____^ I hope everyone has a great weekend!

French holly

Hello again! I stitched this lovely design yesterday before and after work. It is from the French magazine De Fil en Aiguille.

Designer: French Holly, De Fil en Aiguille
Threads: DMC
Fabric: 28ct evenweave antique white by M.C.G. Textiles
Start/Finish: 11-4-2009

I love the simplicity of this design with the added elegance of the French knots on the branches. I am currently stitching another design from the De Fil en Aiguille magazine. I hope to be finished with it tomorrow. I would have been further along with it today, but I miscounted my stitches and had to pull them out and start again on the lettering :*(

Until next time ^____^

Gift Stitching Progress

This is my Christmas stitching so far:
Santas & Snowmen by The Prairie Schooler. It's a gift for my stepdad.

It's Expensive to Be Me by Lizzie*Kate. This is for my 13 year old daughter.

I'm going to wait until I have a few more stitched before I do the finishing.

Ange aux roses

Design: Ange aux roses by Valerie Lejeune
Thread: GAST Midnight and Raspberry Parfait
Fabric: 32ct cream Belfast
Start/Finish: 11/1-2/2009

What do you think? I'm second guessing my color choices. I like the raspberry parfait color, but I think I should have chosen a light blue for the angel.

I'll probably stitch up one more of these designs, but I think I'll go with gold and burgundy. I am stitching these little angel designs for one of my aunts who wants an angel for Christmas.

Until next time ^____^

Angelic start

Hi, everyone! I just want to start off by saying that I've quite enjoyed seeing everyone's great stitching projects! I can't wait to be inspired by everyone's winter designs ^___^

I started stitching this angel earlier today after I got some laundry and other housework done.

Design: Ange aux roses by Valerie Lejeune
Thread: GAST Midnight
Fabric: 32ct cream Belfast
Start: 11-1-09

I bought this book earlier in the year, but haven't had a chance to stitch anything out of it until now with the holidays coming up.

Hopefully, I'll be able to finish this design by tomorrow with pics to share! *fingers crossed*

Until next time ^____^

Wrapping Up Halloween

Here are the rest of my stitched pieces for Halloween. Alas, they are not finished, but I wanted to show what I stitched anyway. I will work on the finishing as soon as the mood strikes me. I have had a couple of baby gifts to knit and am just about finished. Good thing, too. One of the baby showers is tomorrow! The Christmas mood hit me this week and I have started my list of things to make. I love this time of year! Happy Halloween everyone =)

Last day to post your Autumnal/Halloween Smalls...

I am not adding them to the sidebar any longer (just TOO time consuming and I don't want to spend all my free time on the computer-we have a great deal going on here at home at present and I use my free time for stitching :) ) -but I do have a list of them on my desk and I mark them down when you all post pics :)
I will be drawing a name (actually my DD will draw a name) on Nov. 1, 2009 for a prize.

I will be posting a NEW Christmas/Winter Challenge on Nov. 1, 2009 :) So until then, keep posting your Autumnal/Halloween Smalls :)

I am stitching-but unfortunately it is not on smalls at the moment, so I haven't got anything to share. I did stitch a Halloween ornament as a personal exchange -but forgot to take a pic-when Paula can send me a pic, I will share it here :)

Keep stitching and sharing :)
hugs,
BeckySC

Happy Halloween!

Hi all,

I am submitting my last post for this group I have 2 finishes I was hoping to have 3 but time got away from me! It happens. I made another Lizzy Kate if the broom fits because the first one I made a friend had seen it and liked it a lot so I gave it to her and finally stitched myself a new one. The other one is called Candy Corn by the Sunflower Seed. I have had a lot of fun with this group and I look forward to joining the next one that starts on November 1. Have a great day today and I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Halloween!

Vampire

Brooke's Books Spooky Critters II
I stitched it over one on fabric that I dyed. I changed a few of the colors and plan to make it into either a small ornament or a tag.

October Piece for Breast Cancer Awareness

This does not have to be in the drawing, but because this is a cause near and dear to my heart, I try to stitch a 'pink' piece every October. I finished stitching this one a while back, but between being sick and then playing catch up, I forgot to post a picture. It is a freebie from By the Bay Needleart, and it is on 36-count Cream linen, using DMC threads. I am going to make a small wall hanging of it this weekend (hopefully!)
Hugs.

Here is the tin topper piece I stitched for the HOE Halloween exchange. Its Lizzie Kate's Flip It Halloween block.

Autumnal Finish

Here are two smalls I made for a Harvest Exchange over at Stitching Exchanging:

The needlebook design is called Fall Squared by Lizzie*Kate and for the scissor fob I took an L and a Pumpkin from the L*K chart to personalize it for my exchange partner. I loved making the needlebook! I need to make one for myself now!

Happy Hanutings finished!

Hi all,

I hope you all are having a lovely weekend! I put the finishing touches on Happy Hauntings last night and here she is all finished up! Thanks for your comments on my last post about this one. I appreciate all the kind words! I am going to stitch one more Halloween piece for this year before calling it quits. I will post the pics of that later in the week!

Friday, October 23, 2009

Finally, some glamour shots!

The above photos are of the four Halloween exchanges I participated in. I apologize that the photos are of the whole package but I was not feeling well at the time and nearly didn't even bother to take the pictures. There will be more photos in the next couple of days. I have stitched a few smalls for myself but still need to do the finishing on them.
Have a great day!

Another finish!

Hi ladies,

I have been winding down on my Halloween stitching. Can you believe next week is Halloween already? Where did the time go? I finished up this piece this week it is called Happy Hauntings. I got this pattern from a book that I checked out of my local library called Happy Holidays in cross stitch. I think I am only going to do 2 or 1 more Halloween pieces before I call it quits and start picking up the Christmas stitching. I have many gifts to make this year and I need to get cracking as I seem to have fallen behind! Have a good week and everyone keep up the beautiful stitching I love to see everyone's work!

Halloween is a Hoot

This little guy took me forever to finish as I've only been working on it for a bit in the mornings before work and on my lunch breaks. It doesn't help that I've had a cold since Sunday.

Design: Halloween is a Hoot by Heart in Hand
Threads: DMC Alternatives
Fabric: unknown color, but 28ct
Start/Finish: on/off between 10/12-21/2009

I haven't decided on how to finish this one, but I'm thinking that I might make it into a small pillow for a friend of mine ;)

Until next time! ^_____^

2 to Share!

This darling is from a BBD YahooGroups Stocking Exchange. This is actually my very first stocking stitched and finished. If you have not tried BBD's stockings, give them a chance...they are a lot of fun and addictive! This one is from their Halloween booklet and is backed with the fabby shown in the background.

This darling floss keeper is from the LHN/CCN Exchange blog. My partner for the exchange adores sheep and her favorite color is light blue. The floss keeper is back with fabby shown in the background.
Until next time...happy stitching!

Heres my most recent Halloween finish Trix or Treat by Blackbird Designs done on 28ct Tobacco linen. I just love this color!

Trick or Treat, Smell My Feet

Here is a small pillow I did for an exchange. My kids were so dissappointed that I wasn't keeping it. I'm happy with how it turned out. After a search online, the fringe ended up being quite easy to apply.

Yay! Overseas Exchange piece finally received!

Soooo... I can post a picture of it!! It is by Ewe & I and Friends, done on a scrap of R&R overdyed 32-count something... maybe Autumn Leaves? Used DMC threads. And I found the PERFECT backing fabric, don't you think?

I am experimenting with different finishes. I think future pieces will include embellishments... Now I am working on a small piece for the last of my 3 granddaughters for Christmas. Then, starting of Christmas exchange pieces and my New Baby Granddaughter piece... due in January.

Hugs.

Pumpkin Ghost Block

Happy Halloween Pin Cushion

Here is a Halloween finish I'm able to share! I have 2 others but they are exchanges...hopefully they'll get to their new homes in time for me to post the pics here.

I'm thankful this was a small piece as the Permin was horrible to stitch on! I couldn't get the tension right and it always felt loose. It drove me crazy!

My Stockings are Finished

I was able to get these sewn together yesterday. The shape of the "Trick or Treat" one turned out a little funny at the bottom. I was much happier with the second one. Thanks for looking.

My Second BBD Halloween Stocking

I finally finished the stitching on this last night. I hope to finish both of my stockings this week. I'll post a picture of them in their finished form.

A Very Merry Autumn

Hi, everyone!! I stitched up a small JBW design today and finished it as a doorknob hanger.

Design: A Very Merry Autumn by JBW Designs
Threads: DMC 720 and 741
Fabric: 28ct cream Zweigart
Start/Finished: 10/9-10/2009

What do you think? I wish I had made the seam allowance a bit wider so that you could see the bottom edge of the design, but I think it turned out well since it's my first attempt at this finish ;) My blind stitching is still 'below average,' but I hope to get better at it with more finishes that call for it!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far! Until next time ^_____^

Two Finishes

I did manage to finish two of my projects on Sunday. I will be doing the stocking as soon as I finish my current stocking.

I hope everyone get some time to stitch this week.

Finally pics of my finished pieces

I have finished stitching these a bit ago but got sidetracked as to finishing them off. I did 2 Lizzy Kate pieces that are called Don't Bug Me and If the Broom fits. the little pillow with the witch flying on her broom I am not sure what this pattern is called actually because I lost the pattern to this. It is an older one though that because I remember picking this pattern up at the Goodwill 5 years ago. and then I did a little fall scenery that came from a pattern book called Thru the Season by Sandi Gore Evans. I notice that a lot of ladies here stitch on linen and evenweave and such. I prefer to use aida to stitch on because it is easy on my eyes they tend to give me a hard time at times. I am not sure if I will be posting too many more finishes here because I have a lot coming up and I need to get my Christmas stitching in as well. Thanks for all the comments, I feel privileged that I am among so many talented stitchers!

Finally can post a picture!

I have not been able to post any pictures of my recent finishes as they are for exchanges. Today, Sheril (Stitching Exchanging) received one of them, so I can post a picture. It is Autumn, from Autumnology by Trilogy, using a scrap of R&R linen, 32 count, and DMC. Finished as a pillow ornament.

More later, I hope!

"Oh Frankie!"

Well, I got another one done while I was being lazy, sitting here watching Cleopatra with Elizabeth Taylor and waiting for kids to get home and My Hubby (Dan) whips us up some dinner. (I know girls....don't all moan at once!) This design was from the JCH and I think I have almost done every design in the book except for the really nice prim piece at the back which I will probably save for later...we'll see. I did him on my own blackberry ripple fabric. Frankie is going on my Halloween tree.

That's all for tonight folks!
Leeanne

Spookerella Pillow

Hello everyone,

I have been busy on a few other things but I did have a chance to finish up this freebie I found online. I can't remember where I got this one so if anyone else does please put it in the comments for this post. I finished her off on some of my own orange sherbert hand dyed fabric. Then I made her into a pillow with some Halloweeny fabric and trimed out with some purple canvas style ribbon, pinkish-purple sheer ribbon and a couple of prim heart buttons. I think she came out well!
Have a great day all!

Pumpkin Needleminder

Hi, everyone! I got the chance to finish one of my stitched pieces into a needleminder!

Design: Pumpkin by Prairie Schooler 'Trick or Treat' Designer Series
Threads: DMC 436, 520, and 921
Fabric: 28ct antique white Zweigart
Start/Finished: 9/29/2009 and 10/03/2009

I decided to use the great tutorial on Yuko's blog to make a needleminder from this small design.

Backing fabric for the design!

Orange gingham ribbon around the edges!

This is my first attempt at a needleminder and Yuko's tutorial was easy. I didn't have any double-sided tape so I used some fabric glue around the edges.

Until next time!

Small finish

Hi ladies,

I hope your October so far is going good! I only have 1 finish to post this week. I should not be kicking myself but I am because in the last few weeks I did a lot of small finishes but this week so much has happened at home that has kept me in a bad mood and then to throw a wrench in my plans my father called and said he is coming to town on the 12th. So I have a lot to do to get ready for his visit. He lives in Va. so we only see him so many times a year so with everything going on all of a sudden this week I have lost my mojo for stitching! My finish for this week is a cute and simple finish from a pattern book I got called Thru the seasons by Sandi Gore Evans. It has patterns in it for all seasons, there are some winter ones I want to start on soon as well from this book. I am hoping to post more pics this week of all my cross stitched pieces that I have put the finishing touches on. Before I close I want to say that all the ladies that have posted pics of their finishes this week everything is so wickedly cute! I love them all! I log in every day just to see if someone has posted any posts about what they have been working on.

2 Halloween finishes

but I can't post pics because they are for exchanges. I will be able to show at the end of the month though :-)

3 pieces stitched this week

Hi again,

Last week I finished 5 small pieces, there was no way of keeping up with that this week. I however just finished up my third piece this evening. I have been stitching with black so much this week that by last night I was a little batty from working with so much black! I did 2 more Lizzy Kate pieces one is called Don't bug me and the other is if the broom fits. The third piece I am not sure of the designer of the pattern. I have had a copy of this for years of just the pattern. I had purchased this at the goodwill 5 years ago and just now stitched it finally! I probably will just turn these into ornaments I will figure it out tomorrow. I want to do a handful more of smalls before I stop. On the weekend I am going to Micheal's to purchase some fabric to stitch on because I finally got my hands on the Lizzy Kate boo club pattern so I really want to get this stitched before Halloween so I can put it on display. Thanks for looking!

This is from the Prairie Schooler Boo To You leaflet. I used Dmc glow-in-the-dark floss for the skeleton. It glows better than the picture shows. I love how it turned out. I know as soon as my boys see it they are both going to want one.

Owl on an Egg is finished!

I got my little guy finished ! I decided to go ahead and finish him into an ornament. I like the way he turned out. The fabric on the back is a black and tan checked homespun. The candy corn button is another button that I made. I had never made a candy corn button before and it's not THE best but it will do. I was a little disappointed with the buttom not coming out straight but the actual candy doesn't always seem to be either. Maybe it looks more authentic this way.I hope you all like it. He was a "hoot" to stitch, fast too!

Another Bent Creek finish!

Here is another Bent Creek finish. Trying to decide how to finish this one. I'm debating on a scissor pocket or an ornament. Haven't decided either on the candy corn button.Hope you like him.

A Little Fall Fob

I finished up this little swirly acorn fob in just a day. A quick easy stitch with just 4 colours. On the back I placed a cute little leaf button that matched in perfectly with the colours.
This little design was a blog freebie.

Hi all & Halloween finishes~Lizzy Kate

Hi,

I am new to this blog and I have some finishes to share as well. I just wanted to say thanks for letting me join and that everyone here has done such beautiful work and I love them all! My finishes that I want to share are all Lizzy Kate pieces. I got these patterns for free from my dads girlfriend because she too is a Lizzy Kate lover. I put the finishing touches on these 4 ornies just today. I hope you like I know I had a lot of fun stitching them!

Gathering Pinecones Pincushion

Here is a recent finish of Gathering Pinecones pincushion from Hillside Sampling . I tend to think of it as a late Fall / early Winter design, but some of you may think it's more Winter. Anyway I have wanted to stitch it for a long time and decided that with the SAL there was no time like the present. There were a few speciallty stitches involved so it was a little slow process for me ,but I'm happy the way it turned out. Hope you all like it.

The finishes on this blog have been really amazing.

I have some to share. I finished 2 of my MH Autumn Harvest kits: Magical Spell and Wanda's Hat. It took 2 trips to the store but I finally found the sticky back felt for the finishing. The hanger is black ribbon from my stash.

While I was rummaging around in my stash I found Shepherd's Bush Boo Bag and now I have it stitched. Here it is ready for the beads and some hemstitching at the top.

Upcoming Blue Ribbon Designs pattern!

Have you guys seen the preview for BRD's newest pattern that will be coming out in mid-October?

Isn't is lovely? I can't wait for this design to come out! I especially love the squirrels and bunnies ;)

I've been 'trying' to stitch on a JBW design called Autumn Trio, but the linen I had for the project is driving me insane! The texture is rough and consequently my stitching is slow. I think I'm going to go by my LNS tomorrow and pick out some different fabric for it and maybe hunt around for some more Autumn/Halloween themed patterns!

I hope everyone has a great Friday!

Until next time ^____^

Here is my latest, I put the last stitch in this morning. It's Bent Creek's "Giving Thanks" and it was a fun stitch. Its stitched on 32ct linen using DMC alternatives.
I just have to find some matching ribbon and will be making it into a pinkeep. I will post a photo of that when it is complete.

One more quick finish

This was so much fun to do today. I went into my husband's wood shop and found these three small pieces of board on the floor and some small pieces for the stem. Painted the pumpkins orange and the stem green, added some raffia around the stem and adhered my stitched piece to the fattest one. Instant fall and in all it took about 2 hours to do everything, including the stitching!!!!! The design is an old freebie from Trail Creek Farm.

Two more fall finishes!!!!

I am really enjoying putting together all of these fall finishes!!!!
The first is by Little House Needleworks which I finished off into a hand painted wood-grained box and inside the box I created a little pumpkin pincushion of sorts.

The second is an ornament finish of a design by Prairie Schooler. I now have all four of these beauties complete and I love every one of them!!!!

"Fall O' Your Heart"

Here is my latest Stitchwiz Design I call it Fall O' Your Heart. It features a cheerful sunflower and one of our favorite little friends the blackbird. I was wondering how I would finish off this one when suddenly I had an idea...you might agree that it is a bit loopy! Anyway, I also used two glass Mill Hill Beads on each bow in the corners. Hope you like!

Design: Fall O' Your Heart
Designer: Stitchwiz Designs

Fabric: 18 ct. fiddlers

Fibers: Hong Kong Silks and dmc for loops

Finished Boo

Here's my finish of Boo by Sharon Pope. I just love the cat in this design. The fabric is a Silkweaver solo. It called for glow-in-the-dark Kreinik for the words Boo. I also added some for the eyes of the cat and pumpkin.

Autumn Blooms Scissor Keep

"Autumn Blooms Scissor Keep"

Here is my first attempt at a scissor keep, and what a time I had..whew! Don't look to closely because the finishing stitching is awful... oh well, I will do better next time. My main problem was that the binding which I made to match the backing fabric wasn't quite wide enough so I really had to struggle with it. Lesson learned. The silks which I used I got on ebay direct from Hong Kong, and while they are the silkiest-silks with the most sheen I've ever stitched with, they tangle easily. I really prefer VCs and tend to use hers most often. Enjoy your stitching everyone!

Halloween Stitching Plans

I have been busily stitching away on some really cute Halloween ornaments but I can't show any of them because they are a secret. Once they have been received by the special ladies I have stitched them for I will post photos. Until then, here is a photo of my next project, once I have finished the secret stitching. I found this black wreath and pumpkin bell at Michael's last night and just had to get them. I want to make a new Halloween wreath and I think this will be just perfect! The fabric is Autumn Field Lugana from 123Stitch! and the floss is good 'ol DMC except for the black. I am really hoping start this soon =)
Have a great day!

Five Little Pumpkins Update

Hi, I finished up all the stitching on the Five Little Pumpkins by JBW Designs. I don't have any small black seed beads for the eyes of the pumpkins though! I'll have to go by next weekend and check my LNS.

Design: Five Little Pumpkins by JBW Designs
Threads: DMC
Fabric: 28ct evenweave antique white M.C.G. Textiles
Start/Finish: 9/11-13/2009, except for the pumpkin eyes!

I decided not to add the moon charm or the gold beads. I like the way it looks without them :)

Until next time!

Little Miss Witch

Another little finish, Little Miss Witch.  It's a freebie, from Krenick, designed by Pam Kellog. Of course it is my version using DMC and a little 14ct dyed fabbie from Joan at Sapphire Stitching called Winter Evening.

Autumn Harvest

I stitched this design earlier in the summer. After seeing all the fabulous finishes on this SAL, I decided to finish this one :)

Design: Autumn Harvest by JBW Designs
Threads: Variegated DMC and The Gentle Art 'Harvest Moon'
Fabric: 25 ct Lugana Antique White
Finished: June 2009, finished as pillow on 9/12/09

And the great part is I actually sewed this pillow!! I was so nervous O_o" I'm glad it came out okay!

Until next time!

Post-Dated

Another finish

Here is another Fall finish.I stitched it on 28 count evenweave using WDW.I am planning on finishing it as a door knocker ,but that may change.
Designer: Lizzie Kate
Fabric: 28 count cream evenweave
Fibers: WDW

Spooky Witch Hat

ADORABLE and SUCH fun (ok, other than the allergy I had to the fabric :) )-I just loved everything about this and the finishing was just as fun as the stitching :) What a great addition to my Halloween decorations!
I changed just a couple of things...I didn't care for the pink garland on the ghosts, so I left it off and I changed the pink garland joining the spiders to black.

Design: Spooky Witch Hat
Designer: Just Nan
Fabric: 30 ct. WDW Peoria Purple
Fibers: DMC

Hugs everyone :)

Beware The Black Cat!

Here is my latest design. I finished this one up today and I call it, "Beware the black cat crossing your path!" Obviously the pumpkin has heard the story and looks a little worried! I did this on the 18ct fiddlers cloth with dmc floss. I stitched an uneven blanket stitch around the main design (I was thinking of Frankenstein at the time lol). I then wrapped a ribbon around diagonally and topped it off with a double bow and accent button. This could be a pin pillow but I really like it just as a little decorator pillow. It's about 3 1/2" square.

Hope you like it!

Five Little Pumpkins

Hi! I dug around in my stash last night and I came up with a few Halloween/Fall themed patterns by JBW! I decided to start on this cute pattern!

Design: Five Little Pumpkins by JBW Designs
Threads: DMC
Fabric: 28ct evenweave antique white M.C.G. Textiles
Start/Finish: 9/11/2009

I love the cute little pumpkins on the fence! I don't know where I'm going to find the beads for this design. Maybe my LNS has them ;) I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Until next time!

Pumpkin Pinkeep!

Hi, I finally got my Alphabet Pumpkin design finished as a pinkeep. I went by Michael's after work and picked up some organza ribbon! I added it around the edge with a lite orange ribbon over that and green pins ;)

Design: Alphabet Pumpkin by JBW Designs
Threads: DMC 722, 3012, and Crescent Color Old Oak Tree
Fabric: 28ct cream cashel Zweigart
Start/Finish: 9/1/2009

Backing fabric!

Ribbon and pumpkin pin!

I got my aunt to help with the bow on top of the pinkeep. I added a pumpkin pin in the middle of the bow.

I made the pins last weekend from orange and green fimo clay! I got the idea while I was thinking of ways to finish this pattern.

Until next time!
